KEN'S CAMPAIGN PLATFORM
The most important element of this campaign is to revive real grassroots democracy in District One by providing a viable alternative candidate who is not allied to big business, or to either the Democratic or Republican parties. Ken's allegiance will be to the interests of the citizens of District One. The two major parties have so few significant differences now that they are really just one party with slightly differing agendas, and neither appear to serve the best interests of the citizens they are supposed to represent. In addition, they often bow to the corporate interests that are driven solely by increased profit margins, the needs of the few being met at the expense of the many.
As the only Progressive candidate on the ballot,
Ken will support:
Single Payer healthcare reform
Strong growth in the local-based economy
Revitalization of family-owned farms
Stewardship of the environment based on personal responsibility
Freedom for workers to organize if they so choose
Social justice, and equal rights for all
Ken also favors the creation and implementation of a national service program.

And I won't ACT like them in Washington. If you want change, then change the way you think, and the way you vote. Let's get rid of the two party system that America has been hypnotized into believing is the only way to govern. Ask your friends to do likewise. Let's take the country back from the bottom up, instead of waiting for those at the top to return it. They won't." - K
